If you received a Three-Year DACA work permit card from USCIS that was issued, or mailed, after February 16, 2015, read this alert and follow the directions carefully. The card must be returned by July 30, 2015. If it is not returned, you could lose your DACA approval and your work permit. Visa Applications May Get Easier

Visa application procedures may improve. The Obama Administration instructed the Dept. of Homeland Security to work on improvements to the visa application process to make it easier to apply for a visa. Problems with the computer system at the State Dept. have been fixed and 39 US Embassies are now able to resume processing visa applications. For a list of the embassies that are now online, see Connected Posts. The State Dept. advises those who want to apply for a visa to check the website of the nearest embassy or consulate for an update on the availability of interviews.
