Social Security Card Changes

The Social Security Administration announced that as of August 1, 2014, they will no longer provide social security cards at the time of an in-person application or soon after the in-person application. It may take up to two weeks to receive the card. Social security card applicants may receive an instant letter online verifying their application by using a Social Security account.
