Please be aware that current that immigration law proposals (Nov. 2014) involve deferred action for undocumented immigrants (sometimes called illegal immigrants). Deferred Action is not a path to US citizenship. It is a temporary status that defers deportation and allows those who qualify to apply for permission to work, social security number, and a driver’s license.
