Dept. of State Update on delays in Visa Processing

Most Recent Update on Delays in Passport and Visa processing: The Dept. of State issued an update stating that they are now issuing passports within normal processing times. They are making progress on the backlog in processing non-immigrant visa applications such as visitors visas and student visas. They also report that they give priority to immigrant visa (green card) applications, adoption cases, and emergency non-immigrant visa applications.
