Diane R. Chappell-Daly established a practice in
the area of immigration in 1994. With
over 15 years of experience in this field, she has represented
hundreds of applicants seeking a variety of immigration benefits,
including family and employment visas, green cards, and
naturalization. Ms. Chappell-Daly has assisted clients from over 80
countries with applications for
visas,
naturalization, and proof of US citizenship. Ms. Chappell-Daly
also provides educational presentations to groups interested in

here.) Ms. Chappell-Daly is a
member of
American Immigration Lawyers Association, and has actively
advocated for immigration reform throughout her career. Ms.
Chappell-Daly is also a member of the Onondaga County Bar
Association, where she is a member of the Board of
Directors. Additionally, Ms. Chappell-Daly is a member of the
Central New York Women’s Bar Association, having chaired the CNYWBA
Pro Bono Committee from 1996 - 2006.
Ms. Chappell-Daly is also active in the
Central New York community, serving as an as a resource on
immigration law to area-community groups. She is law guardian for
refugee children in the Syracuse-area, and also an attorney
volunteer at the
Vera House, as well as a panel member of the Court Assisted
Mediation Pilot Program in federal district court.
Ms. Chappell-Daly received the Hanna S. Cohn
Pro Bono Award in 2005 for community service from the New York State
Women's Bar Association. She received the Michael F. Dillon Law
Guardian Award in 2006 for her representation of refugee children.
A graduate of Bucknell University (B.S. 1972)
and Syracuse University (M.S. 1978), Ms. Chappell-Daly received her
law degree from Syracuse University College of Law (J.D., cum
laude, 1994). She is admitted to practice in New York (1994)
and the Northern District of New York (1999).
