Apr. 20, 2009 |
As of today, USCIS is still accepting petitions
for cap subject H-1B workers. If you are considering H-1B
employment, please contact our office immediately. This window
of opportunity may not be available much longer. Once this window
closes, the next opportunity to file an H-1B petition will be April
1, 2010. |

Jan. 12, 2009 |
As of today, all travelers from Visa Waiver Program
countries are required to obtain approval through the Electronic
System for Travel Authorization prior to traveling to the US. This
requirement applies to all eligible citizens and nationals alike. |

Dec. 19, 2009 |
DHS finalized a rule stating that the United States
Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator Technology Program would
include, among other classes of aliens, permanent resident aliens.
This rule will be effective starting January 18, 2009. |

Nov. 17, 2008 |
DHS reminds ESTA applicants that any passport issued by a Visa
Waiver Program country after 10/26/08 must be an e-Passport for VWP
travelers to be eligible to enter the U.S. without a visa. |

Nov. 17, 2008 |
As of November 17, 2008, DHS has added 7 Visa Waiver Program
countries. |
